      Risk management

This method of diving has been around for decades, with minimal incidents. BLU3 products are a more user-friendly and innovative approach to an existing way of experiencing water. We look forward to introducing many new people to the underwater world and safety is our number 1 priority.

BLU3 Online Scuba Training Course

Before using the system  Nemo  /  Nomad  Diving, it is required for every user to complete and pass the BLU3 online scuba training course. This course is available for free online on a user-friendly platform. It teaches users how to have the most enjoyable BLU3 diving experience by explaining in detail important diving techniques and emergency procedures.

Low battery behavior

Nemo  gradually decreases airflow performance in the last minutes of battery life to gently alert the user that the battery will soon be completely depleted.  Nomad  exhibits a pulsating low battery behavior that becomes more frequent as the battery approaches depletion. You should always start with a full battery and then monitor your run time during the dive so you can ascend before the battery runs out.

Diving Fitness Assessment

We have developed an assessment form to help you determine if you need to be seen by a doctor before diving. If you have any doubts about your fitness to dive, you must obtain medical clearance. You can view and print the BLU3 Fitness to Dive review here:

Spare air emergency supply

BLU3 and Rpm Nautique inc. recommends a redundant air supply as  Spare Air  ® for emergency situations, although the BLU3 online scuba training course teaches users how to perform a proper ascent in any out-of-air situation.
